1st – 31 st July 2011 BHVU welcomes you to our first residency project « By way of small actions ». For the duration of July, six selected artists were invited into the gallery space to create new projects or evolve existing ideas. Working across the disciplines of sculpture, video, performance, drawing and installation, the artists were left to claim their individual space and develop their own routines whilst sharing the rewarding of sometimes intimidating experience of an empty space filled with other artists.
